Is there anything better than the Boss VT-1?

I personally don't think so. Im going to get one soon and I have tryed it before, but since they stop producing it back in the late 90's I haven't seen anything better or alike. If anyone knows of anything that can manipulate your voice like the Vt-1 does or better, please let me know.

Do you know how to work the Boss Vt-1? I have one but it came with no instructions. The instructions that I did find online seem different. For instance the one I have has a telephone plug that fits into a telephone handset and two other input wires where the telephone plug is. This part of the Vt-1 is not on the diagram of the machine. What is this for?
