Question VST 5.1 w/ dual monitors

Hi there;

I've been doing a fair bit of reading lately about dual monitors, and a lot of people who are using Cubase say that they are using dual monitors, and could never go back to just one.

So... I put in another video card into my computer (so now 2 video cards) and hooked up an old 14" monitor to run along side my 17" monitor. It installed okay, and I can move icons from my desktop to the other monitor. I can move Internet Explorer onto one monitor and have Outlook Express on the other. I can have them rest in between monitors so that half is on one and half is on the other. (not that this is practical, but I just can.... )

Anyway... I fired up Cubase VST 5.1 (PC) and tried the same there. I can drag the transport bar over. I can drag the little customizable toolbox bar over.

I CAN'T drag the mixer or the arrange window over. I CAN'T drag the effects over. I CAN'T drag the master mixer over. The mouse will move all the way to the other monitor, but the window will appear to go somewhat off screen so that it is partly on the one monitor, but not on the other.

I figure it must be something simple I'm missing, but I can't figure out for the life of me what it is. Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks!
Chris

Strange... I just tried dragging ALL of Cubase VST from one monitor to the other. It worked! Of course, now, I still can't drag the individual mixer windows, arrange window, effects windows, etc. back to the other screen. Same problem, other monitor.

Grrrrr......

minimize the cubase window and stretch it across both monitors.
