Gold WaveS?

Ok, I heard from a guy I work with, there's a program called Gold WaveS...he said it's better than TRackS for pre-mastering.

Does anyone have this, and if so, is there anyway you could send it to me?

If you're talking about Goldwave, It's a free download you should be able to find easily with a google search. I have it but the only thing I ever used it for is bit depth and sample rate conversion. You can do some editing with it as well.

It IS a really nice set of Plug-ins for Home Mastering and it isn't for the beginner, (as I am finding out!)

If you can swing it you won't be sorry.

You CAN however purchase smaller plug-in packages that consist of parts of the Waves bundle.

its a very basic editor and works pretty decent but isnt nowhere as good as T racks

it seems to add more color than anything.. mastering isn't as simple as clicking a preset...i know some ppl that use it for overall track compression.. then load it into wavelab for pro tools and master the track

Get the jacuzzi! Real recording studios don't master in house, but ALL real studios nead a jacuzzi for the rock stars to hang out in.
