Recording Settings in CEP

When recording in CEP, you see these sample rates and resolutions up to 32bit. If, you can't use a higher sampling rate and higher resolution on a CD, where would you use it? Or, is there another way to use it to have a better quality sound on CD apart from the obvious?

Do a search on the BBS for "32 bit" and you will find all kinds of reasons for this..
