Spoiled beyond V8's

Hey BlueBear...remember me and my V8's?

I used to love these speakers, but I got used to my Tannoy sys12 so much, the V8 really became useless. This is not saying anything about the quality of the monitors, but more of the tonal difference between the KRK and Tannoy sound.

I usually record and mix on the 12" Tannoys. Only way to really control the low frequencies. If I switch to the V8's I really miss the lower frequencies which makes them sound real cheap. I guess this would happen to all 8" speakers compared to the 12".

What am I trying to say? I have damn good and pricy speakers and am not using them! Shame on me!

In the new studio, my V8s are going to be soffit-mounting.... because of that, I doubt I'll be missing too much in the low-end department!!!!!!!
