Korg Trinity
I have had my Korg Trinity for about four years. I really like alot of its sounds and functions, but lean more towards r-n-b and jazz for my music production. Most of the sounds are targeting techno style music (although interesting sounds with a little tweaking). Would anyone have suggestions about upgrading or possibly have some feedback about why I should keep this board. I am lookoing for a little sway in either direction...

Maybe the Yamaha Motif rack would help expand your sound palate? It is definitely worth an audition.

Is the Motif rack available yet? I have auditioned the Motif Workstation and some of its functions and sounds are noble, but I am not familiar with its comparison to the rack version....the workstation only had 64 voice polyphony which at times created problems with sound tweaking...

The Motif rack has 128 note polyphony, as well as 2 times the user editable memory of the std motif and 2 more preset banks. The core sounds are the same as on the motif boards.
From what I understand it is to become available early this month, if not already. http://www.musiciansfriend.com/srs7/...base_id/100748 |
