Getting nothing on Digital In VS880EX

I have an Alesis unit coming into the Digital In on my VS880EX and have assigned tracks 7 and 8 to the "On" position for In1, but am getting no signal. What is going on? What am I doing wrong?

Figured it out. Just needed to set the System to DigIn1 from INT. I hit the "System" button until I got "SYS System PRM", then hit YES. Then used parameter buttons until I got to "SYS MasterClk=..." and used Time/Value to get "DigIn1".
