Questions for users of Autotune

Hi Everyone,

Has anybody successfully used MIDI to pitch correct audio with Autotune? When I apply pitch correction using a MIDI sequence, playback is perfect. But when I render the corrections made by Autotune into the mix through the export function, the pitch corrections are not accurately recorded - I think that the mixdown is happening too fast (Cubase has to output the MIDI to my keyboard which then inputs the MIDI to Autotune). I have a fast Athlon with plenty of RAM. Is there any way to preserve the pitch correction changes as I hear them when I playback? I guess I'm basically asking if there's a way to make these changes destructive. I know SX has offline processing that may solve my problem, but is there any way to do it with VST? How do you preserve your MIDI-triggered pitch correction?

Thanks in advance...
