Hi there,

I was interested in purchasing ACID Style....it was recommended to me by a clerk at a local electronics store. However, when I went to Sonic Foundry's site to get more information on it, I came up empty. Now I am basically just trying to get some info on this program, and find a computer or other store that still has this program in stock. Any help would be appreciated! Thanx!

It's still available, but under a different name. It's now bundled with Sound Forge XP 4.5 as part of a package called "Audio Anywhere".

Catsinger:

I stumbled across the Audio Anywhere suite about two months ago in my local Business Depot store. I was actually looking for sound clips to use in a new voice-over demo reel. What I ended up taking home was two great software programs, 100's of music beds, loops and sound effects. It was a steal at $49.99 Cdn. and immediately went to the top of my all-time best buy software list.

The next three days (and nights) saw me constantly at the computer, totally immersed in Acid Style. I'm basically an old-school tech. type of guy, but am proof positive that loops can do a lot for your musical psychi. Apart from being fun, they open up new creative vistas. They're also a good rehearsing tool for musicians temporarily without bands (like myself).

If you haven't already purchased Audio Anywhere, do so today. It's not only a bargain, it's a fantastic introduction to loop-based recording and sound editing.

Have fun.

Go to Acidplanet.com and download Acid Xpress for FREE!

You'll need some sample loops, but you can usually find them on giveaway CDS or downloaded from websites.
