Question

Does anyone here have any experiene with Sonic Foundry Noise Reduction 2.0. I've been transferring vinyl to CD for quite some time using Sonic Foundry Sound Forge XP 4.5. I recently got a flyer from Sonic Foundry which had information about Noise Reduction 2.0. I spoke to a technician on the phone and he claims Noise Reduction will remove all the snap crackle pop and 99.9 OF Scratches in one click. If one side of a record is 20 minutes long, processing time would be anywhere from 5 to 40 minutes. I've been pleased with my inexpensive Sound Forge XP 4.5 so far and upgrading to Sound Forge 4.5 and getting Noise Reduction software would cost about $650 (A hefty chunk of change). That's why I'm interesting in any feedback from anyone with experience using Noise Reduction 2.0.
