I am curious to see how many cats out there are using ACID, not only as a loop machine, but also as a simple multi-tracker?
Granted you can only record a single track at a time, but man can you edit really quick! I'd really like to hear from those out there doing this........ Thanks in advance ![]() rdpete |

editing is super easy with acid , i love that erase tool , i wish they incorporated it into vegas.. if SF was to combine acid pro and vegas pro into one app it would be incredible...
as far as acid as a multitracker , you can do it.. although the program isnt too efficient at playing back tracks off disk.. for example , with my crappy compaq i can play 16 tracks off the hard disk at once smoothly with vegas, but in acid when i try to playback 3 tracks from disk the hardrive is constantly being access and it chokes.. as far as looping , acid is great.. you can get as many tracks going as your ram can handle.. but multitracking is definitely for difficult.. - eddie - [This message has been edited by Eddie N (edited 03-15-2000).] |

Yeah, I use acid to form multiple drum loops and samples then sequence them together with ntrack. http://www.acidplanet.com/ArtistDeta...tistName=Dkorg
