new roland vs 840 gx user record to cd question

a new user and probably a little slow: in simple terms, how do i get the stuff from the zip into my pc to burn a cd? software ?suggestions ? anything helpful

Hey Bob,

You basically have 3 options -

1. Mix down to stand alone cd recorder via analog or digital outs
2. Mix down to computer cd burner thru the soundcard
3. Use the internal WAV conversion that I believe is included with the GX OS.

I just mix to a stand alone CD burner.

Go to the 840 forum and do a search on mixing to CD. There's tons of old info there and a good group of folks who will help out with other questions.
