ACID "PH1" question

I'm an aerobics instructor and want to make my own mix tapes instead of paying 30 a tape from a dj that I have to constantly hassle (blah blah blah). To the point, I bought ACID PH1. The sales guy that sold it to me said it would do just the trick to record from a CD and mix songs, and that's all I want to do. I got a good price but I'll return it if anyone says it sucks.

PLEASE SOMEONE TELL ME IF ACID PH1 IS GOOD OR IF I JUST THREW SOME MONEY AWAY.
