Could somone please give an explanation of normalizing, why it is done, what settings I should use and what results I should expect? I am using SoundforgeXp 4.0. Also I would like information about normalizing groups of songs intended for a cd, and individual songs. Soundforge has settings for either DB or RMS values, and their explanation of what normalizing is and how to use it is meager. I realize this is important and I would like to learn about it. Thanks very much!!!
