Question Wiring of an Astatic JT-30 harmonica mic cable...

...it's non-standard XLR-to-TS1/4" -- anyone know the actual pin config?

Usually, pins 1 and pin 3 (of the XLR) are tied to to the sleeve of the 1/4" jack, and pin 2 of the XLR is tied to the tip of the 1/4" jack.

Thumbs up

Thanks Harvey, I'll give it a go.... the harp player this is for picked up a stock Canare XLR-to-1/4 TS and it didn't work, and since found out that they wired those mics differently - requiring special cable, so I told the guy I'd make him one!

I'll check it out........

Thanks!

Bruce
