Cubasis VST - Midi track recording

I'm a beginner using the Cubasis VST package which came with the S/B Platinum card. I know how to record the midi track into the software but it seems I have to then record that track as an audio track for the settings to be maintained next time I use it. How do I do that, any ideas?

A little confused on what your asking but if you can record MIDI via (your sound source)
that should be saved and simply be able to bring up later. It's already Audio (digital Audio)
