How r u set up?

Hey,
I'm kind of in the process of building my Cubase studio and I'm wondering what people are using for mic pres. I could see getting a 16 channel mixer (i usually record live bands and need more than 8 outs). What do people usually use for mic pres?

I'm using a Mackie 1402. Does the job, not the greatest mixer, not the worst. For the price, I can't think of much else (although some may suggest the Alesis, which I've never tried, or the behringer knock-off's.) I find the preamps good though. Depends on your budget, if you have lots of money I would check something out in the higher end.
