vf08 scsi

hi,
i own a vf08 but not the scsi expansion board. currently im using the digital output to send the recordings to computer.

-what are the advantages of having one? Can the zip disks written in wav format be read with windows OS?

-i've the os 1.04 (or similar i dont remember,, anyway its not version 2). does the new OS have nice new features other than cd writing?

im just trying to decide if i should invest more on this unit.
