Fist song from my new band!!
I just got into a new band, and I record all our practices, well anyway this is the first song we got down as a demo we can use for looking for a bassist. We'll be going into a real studio soon to cut our entire cd. What do you guys think? Also, the guit is a little out of tune, that's why the keys sound funny.

Sounds like the makings of a good tune toon to me. Vox is muffled and sticks out of the mix. Snare is too loud in most places.
What did ya record it on and how? CR ><>

I recorded it in my basement live, no vox overdubs or anything. Vox were with a 58, guitar was with a 57, for drums I have Oktava 319s for overheads, snare is a 57, toms and kick are part of a CAD drum pack. I know the vox are rough, but we played it during practice and decided to make it a demo later. Oh yeah, all the mics go into my crap Samson mixer and into 2 Layla 20s, into Nuendo. I really wish I had good preamps, my mixer blows goats (I have proof).
