br 1180cd or yamaha aw16g

Any opinions on the 1180? Just wondering if the extra few dollars for the yamaha 16g is worth it. sound wise? price wise? The 10 tracks is plenty for me.

Thanks,

Is the two inputs, too? Are you SURE you'll not wanna record 'real' stuff?

yes

yes I'm sure. I only need 2 tracks. Does anyone release a project they are happy with on the BR1180?

Just to be clear here for you, my BR1180CD has 8 not 10 tracks to record onto. There is 1 further fader for drum beats and loops (in stereo). Then there are two more tracks to mix down onto. The final 2 are only accessible for mixdown and mastering. When you said 10 tracks was enough for you, I thought I should try to explain what I actually get from my 1180.

Good Luck!
