Session Drummer question

When I open Session Drummer and select and play a drum pattern, I notice that the track is printed but only a couple of seconds worth. I have to slip edit and drag the midi track to the length I want. Is this normal? I would have thought that if in SD the set length of the pattern is say, 12 bars, then it would print 12 bars and then I could see the print in PRV. As it is, I have to drag the print to the required length.

Is there a setting I am missing here?

My memory says this is normal behavior if the SD track is the only track in the song. I think if there are other tracks this doesn't happen.

I'll check it out for sure when I get a chance, or unless someone comes along in the meantime who knows the answer.

I need to do that too, even if there's other tracks present on the project. I would guess this is a normal behaviour.

Moskus/Dachay, I understood from one of our HoRec bretheren in a PM that this may be an upgrade or setting problem, he wasn't really sure. Thanks for the reply, the problem isn't a big deal, it's just a curious "feature" that's all

Well, that's the only MFX I have this problem with. I've tried all the others, and nothing like it happens... Could be a setting, but I can't say I've found it.
