Why is it that when I import an audio filr into Cubase and try to play it, it will play a little, then stop making any noise? It still looks like it is playing, but various portions of the sound just doesnt come out of the computer... why?

I have not encountered that problem. The file your importing is a wav file and is not corrupt initially I assume? What happens when you open the wav up in another wav editor?

I have no problem playing any of my files in any other program, just Cubase. I have no idea what it is...
