saving

I'm slightly new to cubase and it's mastering environment. My first question should be simple enough (although haven't got it). What are the differences between saving a song and saving an arrangement? I have assumed arrangement would include all monitor/Eq/ effects settings but unfortunately trying to save these hasn't worked for me. How do I do it???

Save it as a song. This should preserve all of your eq/fx settings. I don't know what arrangment is for, never use it. Think it is midi related.
