I am investing in a hard disk recording system for my home... I am research a purchase of Cubase VST 24 or Cakewalk Pro Audio 8... They seem to be very evenly matched products...
I am extremely turned off by the Cubase hardware dongle... Anyone have a strong opinion of why they chose Cubase over Cakewalk? |

Well, it comes down to what you are trying to accomplish. I prefer Cubase, for many reasons. The hardware dongle is just a security measure. It's a common thing for high-end software.
Which is better? It depends what you are doing. More details and I can give you a more detailed response. Emeric |
