Alan is on a distinguished road
Whilst this is not strictly a music question,it is related. I cant seem to view the help and getting started doc's in Acrobat reader (I've checked the properties and they are *pdf files) but I keep getting "file read error" messages.
Is this something to do with file association ? If its of any help I have acrobat distiller as well. (whatever that is)
Please help, as I need to read this stuff so that I aint bugging you guys with a million questions that I already have answers to, if I could only read the doc's.
Alan....

Hi Alan,

That's an odd one. I assume you have a recent version of Adobe Acrobat installed?

If it still doesn't open, and you suspect a file association problem, open up windows explorer, click on one of the *.pdf files while holding down the right shift key, and select "open with" and then select adobe acrobat.

Also make sure you don't have a corrupted copy of the .pdf file. Last resort: E-mail me that copy and I'll tell you if I can read it.
