Hello Everyone. I'm new to the world of home recording, and a have a bunch of questions.
1- Qubase VST/24 orCakewalk Pro 8? 2- Are there any software based drum-machines? 3- I want a sound card capible of 24 bit, that can also act as the main sound card for my PC. Is this availible? 4- What is the best over all sound card? 5- IDE or SCSI? 6- Where are some other good sites? I thank everyone in advance for their help. Sincerly--Joshua. |

Hi Joshua 1 - Matter of preference, I prefer Cubase, but that's only my opinion. Download trial versions of both and make your own decision. 2 - Yes, B-Box is one of them from http://www.steinberg.net, rebirth is sorta one as well. 3 - Gadget Labs Wave 8*24 is 24bit I believe. 4 - Many out there, research them all. 5 - SCSI if you got the $$$ or a fast 7200RPM IDE 6 - Here is one that relate to Cubase http://www.dbrown.force9.co.uk/links.html Emeric |
