DA-38s and G3 powerbook - Home Recording

I am going to rent a DA-38 very soon and am hoping to mix down onto my G3 Powerbook. I do not know what outputs are on a DA-38 or how I can hook up to USB ports, as these are the only inputs on the powerbook. If anyone has any advice for a novice, it would be much appreciated.
Also, is the output from the DA-38 analog only?
