Question

I just bought a TASCAM 424MkIII, and I had problems with it the moment I tried to play back my recordings. I'm going back to get a refund on it, and I was wondering if I should have gotten a Porta02 instead. I'm brand new at redcording, and I don't think I really need all of the features on that big machine. Plus, I could keep half of the 480 US I paid for the 424. Talk to me, recording gods!

Wink

Did you read through the manual carefully? I was visiting a friend this weekend and he has a 424 that he hadn't used in a while. It took us quite some time to figure out that we needed to use the manual. When we followed the directions step by step we got what we wanted.
