questions
I have some questions regtarding Sonar 2
After installing the midiman keystation 61 controller, I get pops while im playing notes on the keyboard. Does anyone now why? 2) I cannot get drum styles to play. I open a drum style, it shows up as a midi track but i get no sound. 3) How do I get a midi track to an audio track? thanks in advance

1) Are you using any DXI's and/or have set your latency to low?
2) What MIDI-device have you routed the MIDI-track to play through? Is it to the synth of the card (if any), MIDI-out or a DXi? 3) If you're using a DXi, you could bounce the track. If you're using the cards synth or an external synth, you need to record the track as audio. Create a audio-track and route the audio from the synth to the track. Soundblaster example: In Creative Surround Mixer (or Windows Mixer), select the recording source as "Midi Synth". Now you can record in Sonar. External synth example: You need to connect the synth to the Line In on the PC somehow. In the Creative/Windows Mixer select recording source to be "Line In" Hope this helps! ![]()
