Exporting
Hmmm. Trying to export a Sonar project for the first time. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. In the export window, I select Wave, deselect Seperate Submix, give it a name, and export to stereo file. When it's done, I can find the file, but can't open it. It doesnt have a .wav suffix either. When I try to open it within Goldwave, it doesnt even appear in its folder. What did I miss?

Re: Exporting

Are the multiple mains deliberate? If not, you should assign all of your tracks to one VMain. Not sure if this is the source of your problem, though. I suspect you're not seeing the file in Goldwave, because there is no .wav extension (as you indicated). However, I don't have a clue as to why it is missing the .wav extension. That should happen automatically when you export the mix. |

I have seen that a few times -a non-wav ext on the export. Figured I missed a 'p' or a 'q' somewhere, did it again right, all would be fine. just not sure what you're missing yet...?

I got it all figure out now. Well, sort of. I was exporting to a new folder I created for that purpose. When I export to an existing cakewalk folder, like "Sample Content" everything works fine. Good enough for me. I can just send it from there wherever I want. Thanks guys.
