Hi. I have this problem with my TASCAM 424MkII: When I record on track #1, it results on a lower signal and poorer frecuency response than when I record on any of the other 3 tracks. Recently I cleaned the heads (play/record and eraser) with a cotton swab and a head cleaner, but I don't know if this problem relates to this cleaning or had appeared before because I haven`t recording too much lately and can't tell when it appeared for the first time.
Look, in my country it's not easy to find technical support for TASCAM equipments, so I would really appreciate if someone tells me whether there's a solution for this problem without need to take the 424mkii to specialized technical support.
Thanks!
