How is it done ?

anybody know how to make the end of a song
slow down very fast then stop ?
I've heard this effect on a couple of songs and would
like to try it on one of mine.
Are there any plugins that can do this ?
hope you know what I'm talking about
Thanks for any help
regards Ty :-)))

slow down

Ive done this on a couple songs.... you just have to adjust the pitch control at the end of the song....(slowly turn it down for like the last ten seconds or something)

Yes, pitch shifter or perhaps time machine. Just cut out that last 10 sec. so have just that little audio clip to work with and you may need to record automation.

..concept...

slow down very fast is a hard concept to grasp to begin with, but I think i know what you mean.
There are plugins for that. I know cooledit has a setting like "turntable losing power" that slows the song down as would a...turntable losing power . You can play with the settings to make it slow down faster as well
