Okay...

imagine this...

if you put your rockwool flat agains the wall. then the "sound waves" can't get trapped behind the rockwool.

By adding space, you give the waves some space to become trapped.

There's a good image of this on the SAE


Thats my understanding anyway...

boiled out so many nights

well ac people are doing cabling today for my studio..... so happy..... allthough have to boiled out alot but still something has started..... rochey reading reaqding reading and reading...... these days life seems to be reading and learning... enjoying a lot
