loading complete new set of patches to alesis QV GT. help!!!

right this maybe a totally stupid question (if it is then my apologies). after promising myself a QV2 for about 10 years i finally bought a GT(???) thinking that i could simply load up some sysex or something to change all the patches to that of a + or 2. no so it seems. i enjoy editing sounds but not 99 unusable distorted guitar patches, it is reverbs and delays from the tiny to the lush that i need. if anyone can help or if anyone has a 2 or whatever and could post the midi file or sysex file even better.

ps what is the best program to upload sysex. i have used some free ones but my mate has sounddiver but that means a 260 mile round trip (he doesn't live in my street). anyhow just wondering what is the best (and hopefully free) utility for this purpose.

cheers all!!!!
