Fiber Insulation/Insulco Semi Rigid

I am not aware of Fiber insulation and Insulco Semi Rigid stated in SAE ref_material and wondering whether it would be gonna available in India and my city. Is there any other alternative available that you can think is easily available.

Charoo - Try calling local contractors or building supply places. Lot's of stuff can be used - Rigid Fiberglass, Rockwool or mineralwool even regular fiberglass will work if it is all you can get. Check out insulation dealers/distributors there. I have heard of pure wool and straw being used for different things too. Maybe try talking with a studio in your area to see what is available.

Cheers
Kevin.

Acoustically yes if they are thick enough. My biggest concern would be fire saftey though. I'm sure a quilt like that would go up in flames quickly.
