What do I need?

I have been slowly trying to biuld a studio over the last year and need some info about what I need.

I have:
multiple guitars - acc/elec
5 peice kit
bass
keyboard
crate combo
BR1180
Oktava 319
Audix f50
3-Audio-tech DR-140

I don't have a pre or mixer, I have been either running staight into 1180 or micing the amp. I have an old Tascam 4 track that I have used to run more mics from for drums, sounds like SHIT.
I write rock/rock ballad tunes and have got some songs that sound basiclly ok, but I know they could sound better. I can't afford real high end stuff(can't afford low end either, but that will have to do).

What else do I need?

This should likley go into another topic but, how would I mic my drums the best with what I have? I have tried different variations, none sound that good, but that may be because I don't have all that I need. HELP!!!!!
