RECORDING SETUP QUESTION...help me ya'll

i got my triton LE, and my PC. i need a control interface? somthing like the tascam us428 to record to my pc and lace some tracks with vocals and all that. is there another control surface i can check out around the same price range as that? can anyone help? thanks.

what sofware are u using to record with?

i use the tascam us-428.

if you want to do vocals and you get the 428 you will also need a mic-pre. the us-428 does not have phantom power.

i do recommend the us428.

if you have windows XP, get service pack 1 or you will have problems with any USB device that needs to work in real time.

A control surface does just that....... controls.

You will still need to purchase a program for tracking and editing.

Are you already using a program? If yes, then which one? If no, then we will posit some for you.
