Vs + Software = crying and death?

Hey I have a VS-890!
Im looking for a software platform that recognises the 890 or 880ex.
I have heard that Sonar does Cubase SX, I have Logic VS.
I just am wondering if there is anyone who knows of others that work as control or edit control of the VS-890.
And how hard is it to work with them.
