Simple Question Regarding 424 MK II

does the tascam 424 mk II provide phantom power? i want to get a condensor mic and i'm not sure if i can use it.

but an Art tube or Audio Buddy will get you by for under 100.00. What mic you looking at?

yes, you'll need a preamp with phantom power. when I was using my 424MKIII, I used the Art Tube with a 603s mic. Worked real good.
