BR-8 with a 750 Zip Disk?
Anybody know if the BR-8 works with the new Zip 750?

I think I read that someone tried it and it didn't work.

Think I read the same... You might have a search over on vsplanet.com at the bbs. They are somehow more machine-oriented... At least for Roland/Boss... I assume that here aren't too many Roland/Boss users (or they don't dare to post as someone else might flame them for having such an amateur machine ;-)

Actually, someone else made the switch and it seems to be working fine for them:

He's been the only one I've read who got a 750MB to work!

I read about guys who seemed to have done 8->2 bounce on a vs880EX in one pass and it turned out to be a miracle. I'd be VERY cautious in taking an investment on ONE opinion if everyone else says that it's impossible...

Well, all I know is that I've only read of two people trying this. One worked, one didn't. Pretty good odds so far...

Have to correct myself: the problems I read about were with the 840...
Good luck!!! aXel |
