BR-532 Tips

I use the 532 mostly for recording vocals. I tried several settings for EQ or COMP but still can't get that perfect sound. I use an AKG C1000S condenser mic (battery powerred) with a pop filter. Any suggestions on particulars EQ or COMP settings especially for male vocals?

I don't believe there is a perfect sound for the Br 532 the effects are only of such a quality you know? Go to yahoo!groups and check out the br532 user groups---it is very good.
