Wink

Record drum pattern from SR16. Then record all guitar tracks while listening to recorded drum tracks. Then scrap original drum track. Then create new drum track by having the 488 somehow drive the SR16 to play the original drum program in the proper timing so that I could experiment with different drums, panning, tuning, ect., to see what drums sound the best with the already recorded guitar tracks. Please help!

Cool

Yo, Fireside;
IMHO (in my humble opinion), it would be easier to record a scratch rythm guitar track
(to get your basic chord progression down), then experiment with your SR16. I believe you will find this will eliminate a step or two and still give satisfactory results. i hope this has been of help to you.
