BR-20 SPEED CONVERSION

I need information regarding the BR-20 open reel recorder speed conversion from 7 1/2 ips to 3 3/4 ips as stated in the operation manual. I flipped the dip switch, but did not work. The manual says "some installation parts needed". Tascam told me that I've gotta order the service manual, but they cannot ship to Brazil, and the dealer here in Brazil has never (believe it !) heard of the BR-20.

Does anyone know where can I get this service manual, online preferably ?
