Anyone using a Tascam TM-D1000 mixer?

I was talked into buying this mixer to keep everything digital...but I am not sure it is in keeping with my purpose. For now I simply need to combine three keyboards,a jv-1010 module, and four mics into Cakewalk pro audio, then back out as audio, back into the computer to burn to CD as well as to post to the web. I already have a Mackie SR24-4, but it is very noisy. Any thoughts and opinions?
