Question

Is there a way to use my computer as a mix down deck? I dont have a decent mixdown deck for final product and thought that my PC would be perfect, only i dont know how to go about it. Any suggestions would be great!

He did give you a lot of info. Who do you think wrote that page he sent you to? Where do you think most of these pages on this site come from?

Unhappy

Excuse me if I was a little terse, but this is the Web. If someone gives you information by pointing you at a page (especially a page that answers all your questions), they are helping you. The reason I started this web site in the first place was because so many people kept asking me the same questions over and over, and it seemed easier to just answer them on the Web instead of sending out endless emails. If you call that being a "dweeb", then I feel sorry for you. Just think how far ahead of ordinary people are us dweebs who bother to think, read manuals, and do research.

I will point out that simply going to the home page of this Web site (http://homerecording.com) would have also given you a pointer to the page that answers your question.

Not to mention that the question has zippo to do with Tascams, and would have been better off in the Computer Recording, Mixing, or Newbies forum...

(and thanks for the support, R.E.!)
