Hi guys well I'm not afraid to ask stupid questions and quite glad to be a 'newbie'!
Right my story is a bit different as I'm not a multi-talented musician as everybody else seems to be! but have discovered 'e-jay music director gold' hopefully someone will know what I'm on about, and now able to produce some kicking music, but alas with no vocals now my system is computer 128mb ram, audioPCI 128 sound card, XP201 mic pre amp with a Shure PG48 mic. The main problem at the moment is I cannot get my mic to respond or record, what am I missing/doing wrong? In my own little world my theory is that i can record vocals as a .wav file and then incorp. with my music as a sample? is this possible? your help would be a great help!?! |

Make sure that you don't have your MIC muted in your Volume Control panel.
