I've had my MKII for about four months now, and love it. As far as 'esplaining how to use it, just follow the step-by-step setup procedure in the manual, and that will get you off to a good start.

While you're out buying the unit, buy the punch-in footswitch, a head cleaning kit, a demagnetizer, lots of 60 minute type II (non-metal) tapes, a mic w/ stand, and some good headphones.

And BE CAREFUL with the tape door - that sucker with break off if you manhandle it. Have fun!
