dumping Wav's on the VS2480

Hi all

A friend of my just purchased a VS2480 but doesn't know how to use it properly. He told me he can dump wavs on the VS2480

Is it possible for me to dump the wavs of my CEP multitrack session on different tracks on his V2480. When I cut them in the beginning on the same place, I can sync them without much trouble I presume?

Does anybody have some experiece with this?

Cool Yes you can!!!

"When I cut them in the beginning on the same place, I can sync them without much trouble I presume? "

This is correct. The 2480 will import .wav files with no trouble at all. It will also import tracks from standard audio CDs.

Sometimed what I do is, track on the 2480 and if I have any tracks I need to do really deep editing on, I export the wav file, import it into Sound Forge, edit and make adjustments and import it back into the 2480 and away I go.

My machine has paid for itself 10 times over.

Here's my 2480 http://www.sgrecording.com/img58.jpg
