Should I get this Roland groove box or not?

I want to make R&B/hiphop beats. Do you guys think this is a good machine for that? Have any of ya'll had any experience with this equipment? |

I haven't had any experience with any of those groove boxes, but the download samples sounded pretty cool. Seems like they're getting really affordable. Buy it.

The Roland groove boxes are OK drum machines, if you can't affort something with sampling. Good sequencers, a bit too "nice" sounds.

if the sounds on the yellow d2 is the same as the mc 307 & mc 505 , then yes the sounds are incredible 4 hip hop

My buddie had one. He used it to record an entire album . Sounded professional to me.
