Spooks, try American Musical and Humbucker Music for a couple of others. Humbucker has plenty of stuff, usually in stock and prompt shipping.

Yo Spooky:
Just got a flyer from Full Compass regarding a Mic Sale. You can check them out. They are touting the Neumann 103 as a special buy; however, you have to call to get the price. It's an 800 number. Also saw American Music Supply ads for mics. Might be wise to compare prices between the two or however many. Green Hornet ![]() |

dont forget to keep an eye out on churches, radio stations and the like. To them new always means better, and you can pick up real treasures while they are going to banjo center and buying shiny new turds

Pipeline, I replaced our churches audio sytem last year and never once bought anything from Banjo Center. I was replacing my predessors Radio Shack bargain table shopping spree from 5 years ago. Im not done though....Still got 2 RS things to deinstall. So no....new isn't always better. Obviously Im an exception, because if I could get an 80 series Neve and some Vintage Telefunks I would. But I don't think Id get past the door. SoMm |

lol, good call hehe.
thanks, the main purpous for me wanting to record our band is to record jam sessions. I dont want the recording to sound like tottal crap but it doesnt need to be that great. It would help alot with the development of songs and to see how we sound. So anyway is there anything that i can use to get by besides the b1's? or is it a waste to get something less because i might want to get more serious with it in the future. p.s. will a PA boost mics to line level?
